The service is provided as a two-hour consultation for your upcoming project:​

The first hour is intended for a joint meeting, where we will present the goals of your project, its direction and a proposal for completing the Open Science and Research Data Management section within the template of the relevant call. Based on this, we will discuss the possibilities of using Open Science principles (mandatory and recommended) within the framework of your specific project.​

The second hour is then dedicated to our internal analysis of your project and a proposal to modify the Open Science section within the framework of the relevant call template, which we will then send to you as a recommendation for further progress in this area.

It is ideal to use the service for about a third to a half of the project preparation because the goals and expected outputs of the project must be known first, and only then can the application of Open Science principles and the Research Data Management proposal be defined. Let's say you have three months to prepare the project, so it is ideal to contact us during the 2nd month to discuss this plan.

As we realize that the preparation of such a project is very demanding, it is also essential to consider the entire practice's time frame. Therefore, the MU Open Science Support Team guarantees the implementation of a two-hour consultation in the described format within 14 days of the project manager/project support request.

To be able to provide the service in sufficient quality, it is essential to comply with the following conditions:​

• Follow the above format, where the project solver introduces the OS support team to the planned goals of the project, the planned outputs and the proposal of the Open Science and Research Data Management section.​
• Provide the Open Science team of MU with the current draft of the project in the state when the joint part of the consultation took place as a basis for the draft update of the Open Science section within the project template.​
• Provide the MU Open Science team with the final version of the Open Science and Research Data Management section that was submitted together with the project.
