• Czech Science foundation (GA ČR) recommends publishing results in Open Access mode.
• Pays off the cost of Open Access publishing.
• The recommendation is part of the project agreement.

"If the field, the nature of the results and the conditions of the project allow it, it is appropriate to publish the results in the form of Open Access, or publication outputs can be transferred to open digital archives, in accordance with the license conditions of the publisher."

The project proposal must now contain a brief description of the data generated within the project and the ways of handling them. The tender dossier further states that the costs of managing the research data and creating the Data Management Plan (DMP) are eligible.

How to do it:

• No Data Management Plan required
• A very brief description is enough as part of the "justification of the project proposal" (1-2 paragraphs): what kind of data will be generated, what is the format of your data, where you will store your data, how you will handle the data
• No status methodology is defined, you can be inspired by Horizon Europe (HEU) projects, but for GAČR it is enough to a lesser extent
