Open Science principles are already included in the evaluation of grant proposals.

Excellence (methodology)

• Describe what specific open science procedures will be implemented as part of the proposed methodology (e.g. pre-registration, data management plan, open access to publications, data and other outputs, etc.) Management of research data and other outcomes (other than publications)
• Describe how your data/outputs will be processed to comply with FAIR principles

Quality and efficiency of the implementation (capacity of participants and consortium as a whole + list of achievements)

• Describe your expertise in open science + the expertise of the people who will be involved
• A list of publications, data sets, software, etc., is necessary for qualitative evaluation
• The importance of journal publications will be evaluated based on a qualitative evaluation, not according to the impact factor
