- Open Science is a modern approach to research based on sharing knowledge, results, and tools – quickly, transparently, and without unnecessary barriers. Today, this approach is supported by leading research institutions as well as funding bodies, including the Horizon Europe program.
- Masaryk University is committed to the principles of Open Science through the Open Science Strategy MU 2022–2028. Its goal is to integrate Open Science into all stages of research – particularly in the areas of Open Access publishing and research data sharing.
- An important part of the Open Science infrastructure are also persistent identifiers such as DOI, ORCID, or ROR, which ensure clear and lasting connections between data, publications, authors, and institutions.
