Within MU, it is possible to publish in the Open Access mode through the university publishing house Munipress, a member of the European Association of University Publishers AEUP. Munipress currently publishes 57 Open Access journals.

In support of open publishing, Munipress offers:

• circle of lecturers/reviewers/scientific editors,
• financial security editorial background (professional/language/IT/production)
• an emphasis on the the whole credibility and credibility of published works
• production availability
• international archiving cooperation

Some edition series, published in Munipress, are already available in full Open Access mode.
