Consultations on Open Science in Project Preparation
The service includes a consultation for your planned project:
- A joint meeting to present the project goals and the draft of the Open Science and Research Data Management section, followed by a discussion of options for applying Open Science principles.
- An internal analysis and a proposal for adjustments to the Open Science section, which we will send you as recommendations for further steps.
When is the best time to use this service?
The ideal time for a consultation is during the first third to half of the project preparation phase. It is important to have clearly defined goals and expected outcomes first. Only then can the application of Open Science and Research Data Management principles be meaningfully designed.
For example, if you have 3 months to prepare your project, we recommend contacting us during the 2nd month so that we can discuss this agenda together.
Conditions for Using the Service
To ensure the consultation is carried out at the appropriate quality, it is necessary to:
- Follow the outlined format – introduce the Open Science team to the planned project goals and outcomes, as well as the draft of the Open Science and Research Data Management section.
- Provide the Open Science team with the current version of the project draft after the joint consultation, to serve as a basis for refining the Open Science section in the project template.
- Provide the Open Science team with the final version of the Open Science and Research Data Management section submitted together with the project.
