Terms of Use
- The research article must be published and reported in the RIV under the affiliation of Masaryk University.
- The main or corresponding author must be from Masaryk University, with the MU affiliation clearly stated.
STM Fields
- Eligible journals are limited to Q1–Q2 quartiles according to Web of Science (WoS).
- If the journal is not listed in WoS, Scopus quartiles are used instead.
- Evaluation is based on Article Influence Score / Scimago Journal Rank.
HSS Fields:
- Eligible journals are limited to Q1–Q3 quartiles according to WoS.
- If the journal is not listed in WoS, Scopus quartiles are used instead.
- Evaluation is based on Article Influence Score / Scimago Journal Rank.
Exception – Taylor & Francis:

For both STM and HSS fields, tokens are only granted for articles in Q1–Q2 journals according to WoS. If the journal is not in WoS, Scopus Q1–Q2 quartiles are considered. Evaluation is based on Article Influence Score.

The article must not have APC funding from other sources, such as a grant or departmental funds.
- Tokens are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- A token is granted after the article is accepted by the publisher.
