From September, the ICS MUNI is opening another run of the course Research Data Management in Practice: An Advanced Course for Data Stewards. The course will take place from 15 September to 8 December 2026 in an online format via MS Teams, every Tuesday from 17:00 to 19:00.
The course is divided into five thematic blocks (fundamentals, advanced data storage and description, automation, the human factor, and trends and the future of research data management) and combines expert topics with practical exercises. Participants will receive a micro-credential upon completion.
The course fee is CZK 18,000. More information about payment.
For participants from Masaryk University, the course is offered at a reduced price of CZK 1,000.

During the Researchers’ Night at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University, the Open Science and CERIT-SC teams will show how data have evolved over time, what they can reveal about us, how to share them safely, and how artificial intelligence works with them.
Citizen Science is becoming an increasingly important part of the research landscape. It offers an innovative way to engage the public in scientific projects at every stage of the research process, from defining research questions and collecting and analysing data to communicating results and sharing knowledge.
